I totally agree with you Richard. The teacher I remember most is Mrs. G. Grant. I left APS in 1994 and then moved on to Mount Alvernia and then to UWI and even now as a professional, I can still recall how she influenced me and pushed my classmates and I to strive for the best. Trust mi she did know how fi beat 2! She is an excellent teacher and motivator.........everyone she taught can attest to that. My little sister (now in college) and my little brother (at Cornwall College)feel the same way. Hats off to her for a job well done!!!!

There were some others who were also great. Persons like Mr. Robinson, Ms. Hudson (she had left to attend Sam Sharpe and was a Social Studies practice teacher when I was in the 8th grade at Alvernia), Ms. Cook, the then principal (whose name is on the tip of my tongue but I cant fully recall. For the others, I am getting old so their names evade me, however, respect due.
